The colours are soft and dreamy and subtle. This painting evokes a very romantic and summery feeling. Frequently commented on by visitors that it one of thier favorites. About the Artist Jaqui Michells: Jaqui started painting at 9 years of age, and sold her first painting at the age of 10. Since then, she has sold many paintings. She trained in Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal, and graduated with a major in graphic design. She worked in that field full time until having children, and thereafter as a freelancer. More recently, she began to study, and create sterling & gold jewellery as seen in the jewellery section of this website. Her proffesional experience includes working as an art director in one of Canadas largest advertising agencies, as a photographer, a sculptor, a jeweler and a fine artist.
